About Janet

Janet LaFlamme has over 35 years of experience in human resources, organizational development, and administration.

As a seasoned executive, Janet has held leadership positions in various industries including healthcare, higher education, and nonprofit/social service organizations.

As a senior leader, she has extensive experience in executive recruitment, coaching and succession planning, as well as identification of leadership competencies for recruitment and succession planning and current leader development.  Janet has assisted companies in dealing with culture shifts and staff redeployment after mergers. 

For ongoing business operations, Janet has extensive experience in ensuring employment and contract compliance, employee relations, developing compensation structures and strategies, as well as the effective selection and implementation of a full complement benefits plans.

 

Work History, Education and Certification

In addition to her executive experience, Janet has held adjunct faculty positions in business and healthcare administration programs, where she taught both at the undergraduate and graduate level.

Janet holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Southern Maine, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Bates College, in Lewiston, Maine.

Janet is certified in several assessment areas including Leadership Effective Analysis™ and  Individual Directions Inventory™.  She is certified at the senior professional level (SPHR) and SHRM-SCP with the Society for Human Resources. She holds the Gestalt Coaching Certification from the Gestalt International Study Center, in Wellfleet Massachusetts and holds the Professional Coach Certification (PCC) from the International Coach Federation.
